I wanted to share an event that my program is delivering in June:
Friday, June 26, 2026
9:00 AM – 3:30 PM Central Time
All day eating disorders in youth workshop:
Eating Disorders from Pediatrics Through College: Recognition, Response, and Real-World Practice
Speaker: Jessica Setnick, MS, RD, CEDS-C
Description: Most of the literature on eating disorders focuses on adults. This workshop is for dietitians and nutrition students seeking to enhance their skillset in the identification, assessment, and nutritional management of children, adolescents, and young adults with eating disorders or disordered eating. Our speaker is Jessica Setnick, an internationally recognized dietitian who has devoted her career to eating disorders, as a clinician, keynote speaker, mentor, author and advocate.
Continuing Education: 5 Continuing Education Credits have been requested from the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR). A certificate of attendance will be provided to all attendees. Some health professionals (non-dietitians) may be able to utilize the program's details and certificate of attendance for continuing education. This program, however, will not request prior approval from any other health professional accreditation board.
Note: Attendance on the day of the event is REQUIRED to receive Continuing Education Credits from CDR and to receive a certificate of attendance.
The program will be recorded and available to those registered approximately 2 weeks after the event. The recording will only be available for 6 weeks. Registered participants who do not attend the live event will NOT be issued a Continuing Education certificate for listening to the recorded event.
