Welcome to the Food and Culinary DPG and thank you for joining us. Whether you’re a returning member or joining us for the first time, we’re so glad you’re here. If you love food and are passionate about the intersection of food and nutrition you’re absolutely in the right place.
Our Executive Committee is energized and full of fresh ideas. We have a year filled with a number of engaging learning opportunities, including a variety CPEU activities, networking events, virtual meetups, and other experiences and stay tuned for some new resources we’ll be launching later this year to help you grow and thrive in the world of culinary nutrition.
Here are just a few things to look forward to this year:

- FNCE® is right around the corner!
- We hope you are joining us at our networking reception on Saturday night at Peg Leg Porker! It will be a night filled with BBQ and Bourbon and a special guest.
- Our spotlight session is Sunday morning, “New Consumer Research on Food as Medicine: The Power of RDNs Driving Healthful Change.”
- The Member Showcase – please come visit us on Monday night to hear more about everything FCP is doing and take home a special giveaway.
- We have a number of webinars planned on a variety of culinary focused topics and trends. View previous webinars here.
- Virtual meet ups and virtual culinary focused events and new culinary nutrition resources later this year.
- Recipe contests – We had 2 contests last year and hope for the same this year! Prizes have ranged from $500 to $2000! Check out last year’s contests and winners here and here.

- Watch our new Discussion board for fun topics to engage with throughout the year. It’s a great place to ask all those burning culinary questions!
