Meet and network virtually with your colleagues, students, and experts within the field. Each month SHPN will host a networking event for general networking, highlight an individual within the field, or to discuss prominent topics within sports nutrition.
These networking events are open to anyone so feel free to invite your colleagues, students, or anyone you know within the field!

- January 16, 2025 - Trevor Petrucci, MS, RDN, CSCS, CISSN, USAW-L1! Trevor is SHPN's Nominating Committee Chair and a sports dietitian and strength and conditioning specialist. Learn how he bridges the gap between sports nutrition, strength and conditioning, and academics to help optimize performance and help athletes reach their potential.

- December 12, 2024 - Participants met with SHPN leader Yasi Ansari, MS, RDN, CSSD! Yasi is SHPN's 2024-25 Chair-Elect and an Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics spokesperson. She has great experience with nutrition for performing artists and nutrition therapy for disordered eating/eating disorders. They heard about Yasi's experience in these specialized fields, as well as the work she has done and will do with SHPN.
- November 21, 2024 - Participants met and talked with SHPN leader Paige Crawford Blyth, MS, RD, CSSD. Paige is SHPN's Content Expert Committee Director and currently the team dietitian for the Los Angeles Chargers. This session will focus on Paige's experience as a sports dietitian in a variety of settings and her expertise and involvement as a content expert in the private sector and for SHPN.
- October 17, 2024 - Participants met and talked with SHPN leader Rachel Clark, MS, RD. Rachel is SHPN's Student Engagement Representative a Clinical Assistant Faculty of Nutrition at Purdue University. This session focused on how students and professionals can be engaged in experiential learning to be a part of growing our profession!
- September 19, 2024 - Participants met and talked with SHPN leader Kelly Pritchett PhD, RDN, CSSD. Kelly is the Social Media Coordinator for SHPN and a Professor in Nutrition and Exercise Science at Central Washington University. Participants learned about her experience with combining sports nutrition and research.
- August 15, 2024 - Participants met and talked with SHPN leader Stephanie Horvath, MS, MED, RDN, CSSD, LDN. Stephanie is the Chair of the 2025 SHPN Symposium Committee! She is a dietitian with Nourish, Inc. and has great experience in collegiate athletes, individualized nutritional counseling and building a network.
- July 18, 2024 - Participants met and talked with SHPN 2024-25 Chair, Tony Paradis, and networked with other professionals and students about careers, continuing education, and new topics within the field.
