American Bone Health

American Bone Health helps consumers understand bone disease and bone health. It uses insights from their research organization, the Foundation for Osteoporosis Research and Education (FORE) to stay current on the latest technologies and treatments.

FORE focuses on research and professional education. The FORE 10-Year Fracture Risk Calculator™ (FRC) estimates 10-year fracture risk for postmenopausal women and men age 45 and older who are not receiving treatment for osteoporosis. It is a tool for use in counseling patients about osteoporosis, which has a patient-friendly graphic display of risk results and categorizes risk as low, medium, or high.

Dairy Council of California

  • Online Calcium Quiz: This tool allows users to assess their calcium intake from all food sources (based on a day's intake). The tool then compares their intake to recommendations and gives suggestions for dietary changes that will help them meet their calcium goals.
