View over 140 recipes that are easily used to prepare meals for people with diabetes. Each recipe contains an approximate nutritional analysis for calories, protein, carbohydrates, fat, fiber, sodium, and cholesterol. For those using the carbohydrate counting method of meal planning, carbohydrate units are provided.

  • Downloadable PDF Publication "Apps to Know from the Nutrition and Health Pros:" Provides evaluated and recommended apps by University of Missouri Extension Nutrition and Health Education Specialists. Apps in the categories of food and nutrition, finding healthy recipes, managing diabetes, physical activity and managing stress and being more mindful were evaluated using a standardized tool.
  • Downloadable PDF Publication "A SMART Start to Finding Nutrition and Health Apps:" Provides the consumer tips to help make decisions before downloading nutrition and health apps. Five categories or questions are addressed and explained: What is the source of the app? Does it meet your needs? What actions will you take? What do the reviews say? Do you have the time?
