The 6th Annual Nutrition Entrepreneur DPG Spring Summit, held virtually from February 25–27, 2026, brought together entrepreneurial dietitians from across the country for three days of learning, connection, and inspiration. Centered on this year’s theme, “INSIGHT,” the summit delivered practical strategies and forward-thinking ideas designed to help nutrition professionals strengthen both their clinical expertise and business success.
Day One launched the event with a focus on technology, communication, and behavior change. Attendees explored how emerging tools can enhance practice efficiency and client engagement. Adrien Paczosa and Joanne Larsen presented “Future Proof Your Business,” offering guidance on thoughtful technology integration, sustainable business models, and long-range planning for evolving healthcare environments. Dawn Clifford followed with an engaging session on advanced motivational interviewing techniques, equipping practitioners with practical communication strategies to deepen client relationships and improve outcomes. Laurel Mellin concluded the day with an introduction to Emotional Brain Training, providing a neuroscience-based framework for addressing stress-driven eating behaviors.
Day Two shifted the conversation toward longevity and strategic expansion. Brandy Kinnear opened with “The AI Advantage,”demonstrating how artificial intelligence can streamline workflows and support business growth. Later, Tina Musseman delivered actionable insights on building stronger professional networks and increasing physician referrals, helping attendees identify opportunities to expand their reach and impact within the healthcare community.
Day Three wrapped up the summit by blending cutting-edge clinical practice with digital marketing strategy. Sarah Amidon introduced attendees to nutrigenomics integration, outlining how genetic insights can enhance personalized nutrition services. The summit concluded with Gwen Montoya’s session on leveraging Google Analytics, where participants learned how to interpret website data and use it strategically to strengthen their digital presence and drive practice growth.
Across the three days, participants gained 7.5 CPE credits, practical tools, and fresh perspectives on navigating the evolving landscape of nutrition entrepreneurship. The summit fostered lively discussion, idea-sharing, and collaboration among dietitians committed to building innovative, sustainable practices.
For those who were unable to attend every session live—or who want to revisit their favorite presentations—all sessions have been recorded and will remain available to registrants for 90 days following the event.
The Nutrition Entrepreneur DPG extends sincere thanks to our speakers, organizers, and attendees for making this year’s summit a meaningful and energizing experience. We look forward to continuing the conversation and supporting entrepreneurial dietitians as they turn insight into action.
