Description: Eggshell membrane has quietly supported human nutrition for centuries—long before supplements existed—yet only recently has science begun to unravel its unique biological value. In this webinar, we’ll explore the surprising history of eggshell membrane consumption across cultures, review the latest clinical research demonstrating its benefits for joint and cartilage health, and compare today’s leading eggshell membrane dietary ingredients. Attendees will gain a deeper understanding of how this once-forgotten natural material has become a scientifically validated functional ingredient with growing relevance in nutrition and dietetics.

    Learning Objectives:

By the end of this webinar, participants will be able to:

Describe the biological composition of eggshell membrane, including its key structural proteins, glycosaminoglycans, and other bioactive components relevant to joint and connective tissue health.

Summarize the current body of clinical evidence demonstrating the efficacy and safety of eggshell membrane supplementation for joint pain, stiffness, function, and cartilage biology.

Differentiate among the various types of commercially available eggshell membrane ingredients, recognizing how differences in processing, composition, and standardization can influence clinical outcomes.

    Performance Indicators:
