Holly is an RDN entrepreneur specializing in integrative nutrition care across the lifespan. Through her private practice, Be Balanced Nutrition, LLC, she primarily serves clients with disordered eating, eating disorders, and disorders of gut-brain interaction. She graduated summa cum laude from Virginia Tech with a degree in Human Nutrition, Foods, and Exercise and completed her dietetic internship at VCU Health. Before launching her business in 2017, Holly spent more than 15 years caring for acutely ill children in major health systems.
A Board Certified Specialist in Pediatric Nutrition since 2006, Holly has also served as a subject matter expert for the Commission on Dietetic Registration’s Pediatric Specialty Exam. She became a Fellow of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics in 2015 and has received both the Pediatric Nutrition Practice Group Outstanding Member of the Year Award and the Virginia Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Outstanding Dietitian of the Year Award.
Holly served as 2025-26 Chair of the Dietitians in Integrative and Functional Medicine (DIFM) Dietetic Practice Group and is a Past Chair of the Pediatric Nutrition Practice Group. She is also a published author, international presenter, and longtime Academy volunteer leader. Outside of nutrition, Holly enjoys teaching Pilates, yoga, and mobility classes.
