Screening Tools

Nutritional screening is the first step in the early identification and treatment of patients who are at risk for malnutrition or currently malnourished. The primary goals of systematic and consistent nutrition screening include: (1) early identification of malnourished and at-risk individuals in need of nutrition-related interventions; (2) generation of comprehensive nutritional assessment, ongoing monitoring, and optimal clinical outcomes.
