My name is Fathima Mirza. I was born and raised in the southern part of India. I have always been a science enthusiast. Anything related to health, food, food interactions would always interest me and I would try to find answers to many questions that used to arise in my mind. This curiosity drove me to choose Health, Microbiology, Food Science in my College. I also majored in Industrial microbiology ( Food production). I also briefly worked as a research assistant in the lab researching diet and diabetes 2 in rats and its link in humans. I had to move around a lot due to my husband's projects. Every place I moved I observed their food habits, culture etc which fascinated me more towards nutrition. Now that I moved to US for good I wanted to pursue my dream profession.
