I am currently President of Children's HeartLink, a nonprofit focused on building pediatric cardiac care capacity in low to middle income countries. I also have a background of working in obesity, cardiovascular disease and diabetes and have done significant work in these areas related to population health approaches to prevention and treatment. I am a long time volunteer of both the American Diabetes Association and the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and a past Editor in Chief of Diabetes Spectrum journal.
