Presently I work in both in-patient and outpatient at a regional medical center, primarily focusing on diabetes care. This involves providing individual education during acute care stays and outpatient visits; furthermore, I also help teach diabetes self management classes at our ADA certified program. While I enjoy helping people manage diabetes, I am also passionate about quality improvement and the development of optimized systems and healthcare as a whole. I am hopeful to continue learning and progress my own knowledge to attain the CDCES credential.
In my spare time I enjoy reading all types of books, learning about city planning, philosophy, exercise, formula 1 racing, playing hockey, and hiking!
