Jessie Pavlinac

Bio

Jessie retired from Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) after more than 40 years as clinical nutrition manager and renal dietitian. She is currently an adjunct instructor at OHSU and Rutgers University, and an associate instructor for Clackamas Community College and Oregon Institute of Technology.

  Jessie received her BS in Zoology from Oregon State University and her MS in Nutrition Science from University of Wisconsin, Madison, and a MS in Healthcare Management from OHSU.

Jessie currently serves as Delegate to the House of Delegates for the Renal Practice Group and Co-Chair of the Research Committee for the Clinical Management Practice Group. She is a member of the editorial boards of the Journal of Renal Nutrition, Nutrition and Dietetics Nutrition Care Manual and eatrightPREP.  

Jessie is chair of the Oregon Board of Licensed Dietitians and a member of the Oregon Academy policy team. In the past Jessie has served as President of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, Speaker of the House of Delegates. Commissioner for CDR, and President of the Oregon Academy.

 Jessie is a Fellow of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and the National Kidney Foundation.
