Alison Duffey, MBA, MS, RDN, CSG, CDN, LDN, FAND, is a seasoned clinical dietitian with over 30 years of experience specializing in counseling and gerontology. Her career spans a wide range of settings, including post-acute and long-term care (PALTC), as well as inpatient and outpatient nutrition services. Alison began her professional journey in food service before transitioning to clinical nutrition upon earning her credential.

Throughout her career, Alison has collaborated with healthcare providers to implement evidence-based, best-practice interventions for managing chronic diseases—an area that continues to evolve and inspire her work. Her dedication to the field extends beyond clinical practice into education, mentorship, and advocacy. She has served on the Committee for Lifelong Learning, and on the Executive Boards of DHCC and COGA.

Currently, Alison owns a consulting business and provides telehealth nutrition counseling through Nourish, Inc. Helping clients improve their relationships with food and their bodies remains a deeply fulfilling aspect of her work, fueling her ongoing passion for medical nutrition therapy.
