As a Culinary Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and past Spokesperson for the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, I love sharing nutrition through scrumptiously fun culinary experiences, as well as entertaining, imaginative communication to all ages and backgrounds. For me, nutrition always includes experiences from my Midwestern roots, global travels, and endless quest for healthy, flavorful, good food.
Enthusiasm and connectivity trademark my business, Libby Mills Nutrition. Inspired by the connection between the earth, food production and tasty food that honors culture, tradition and regional ingredients, “Dig In Eat Up” is my tagline.
Now 11-years running, my radio show and podcast-- Libby’s Luncheonette, serves home cooked conversations, eats and tips that focus on our global and local food system and how sustainable choices can positively affect our personal, community and ecological health and well-being. Listen in on Mondays from 12:15-1:00 PM ET on WCHE 1520AM, 95.3 FM and online at WCHE1520.com. Or listen to the podcast posted on LibbyMillsNutrition.com.
Giving back and invest in the future is important to me. I’m commitment to the dietetic profession and upholding its high standards. I currently teach nutrition at Neumann University and regularly precepts and mentors students.
