Bio

Andrea Barnes is a dynamic leader in integrated healthcare, nutrition policy, and clinical research, seamlessly blending expertise in healthcare management, public policy, and global health innovation. With over 20 years in healthcare and seven years dedicated to health research and policy, she has built a reputation as a driving force behind patient-centered care, health equity, and the advancement of social determinants of health. As a licensed and registered dietitian-nutritionist, she has spearheaded transformative initiatives in clinical research, food security advocacy, and health system innovation. Her leadership in developing an internationally accessible integrated healthcare training course has influenced global healthcare education, while her advocacy efforts have been instrumental in working to enhance licensure for dietitian-nutritionists in Pennsylvania.  

A strategic thinker and change agent, Andrea excels in research administration, project management, and fostering high-impact partnerships that bridge academia, industry, and public health. She actively contributes to advancing research in dietetics and integrated healthcare.
