    Hi everyone,

    I'm hosting my book club next week and am looking for a couple of fun appetizers to serve. The book we are reviewing is set in the 1970s, so I thought it would be fun to serve a couple of retro appetizers. Any fun ideas? Please share!

    Not much of a "recipe" for these, but several came to mind:  Baked Mushroom Caps stuffed with Spinach Soufflé (Stouffers!), Cocktail Rye with Pimento Cheese, Pigs in a Blanket (cocktail sausage wrapped in part of crescent roll), and Vegetable Pizza (baked crescent roll crust cooled, spread with cream cheese mixed with a little season salt, like Lawry's, and then a variety of colorful chopped veggies sprinkled over the top.  🤭
