Kim Fremont, MSEd, RD, LD

Kim has been involved in healthcare and long-term care for over 39 years. Kim is the Senior Vice President of Health Technologies overseeing consulting services to over 1300 client facilities in 18 states and 150 RD’s. Kim’s has a Bachelor of Science in Medical Dietetics from the University of Illinois at the Medical Center, Chicago and a Master of Science in Education and Instructional Technology from Southern Illinois at Edwardsville.

Elaine Farley-Zoucha, RDN, LMNT

Elaine was the founder and owner of EZ Nutrition Consulting, PC, which recently partnered with DiningRD. She has over 20 years of experience in Food Service Management, Culinary Arts, and Medical Nutrition Therapy. She began her career as a Dietetic Technician, Registered and Chef with an Associate Degree from Southeast Community College-Lincoln in Food Service Management, Culinary Arts, and Dietetic Technology. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Nutrition Science and Dietetics at the University of Nebraska - Lincoln and her internship at the University of Iowa Hospital & Clinics.

Libby Johnson, MBA, RDN, LD, CD

Libby Johnson, MBA, RDN, LD is a consultant dietitian with S&S Nutrition Network, Inc., where she provides nutrition consulting services to Long Term Care and Assisted Living Facilities throughout Washington and Oregon. Libby is currently serving as the Conference Chair for the Washington State Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. Libby resides in the Yakima Valley where she plans to continue to learn, grow and educate within the dietetic and long-term care fields.

Sue Linja, RDN, LD

Sue Linja is an RDN with a passion for nutrition and aging. Sue has been a business owner for over 3 decades, working in healthcare communities in 12 states and employing over 60 registered dietitians (95% women).  She is an author and sought-after speaker, most recently in the areas of living to 100, International Dysphagia Diet Standardization Initiative (IDDSI) and Alzheimer’s prevention through the foods we eat.  Sue hopes to age gracefully, reaching her 100th birthday by maintaining close relationships, eating a mostly plant-based diet and drinking fine wine.

Krista Clark, MBA, RD, LD, FAND, NASM-CPT, SFS

Krista is the Director of Education and Training for CJL Consulting Services. She has 30 years of experience as an RD. She is a former Captain of the US Air Force. Her passion is to grow and develop dietitians in their Evidence-Based practice and educate new dietitians for their role as a Long-Term Care Dietitian.

Treasurer
Michele Damon, RDN

Michele is the incoming treasurer and has been a dietitian since 2002.  She is currently a PACE dietitian and works with seniors to help them continue living in their homes. She also has 20 years of experience working in renal nutrition. She enjoys vegetable gardening, cooking, trying new foods and ethnic restaurants. MIchele has volunteered in many DPGs in various roles and has also been a board member for her local farmers' market. She is passionate about having people try local foods, new foods and keeping farming in her home state, New Jersey.

Alison Duffey, MS, RDN, CSG, LDN, FAND

Alison has over 30 years of experience in clinical nutrition and food service.  She has lived in southwest Florida for 25 years and takes every opportunity to enjoy year-round outdoor living.  She is a passionate advocate for our profession and serves on the Academy's Committee for Lifelong Learning and the Foundation's Scholarship Review Committee.  In her free time, she enjoys traveling with her significant other, Landon, and spending time with their 20-year old puppy, Ferdi.

Pamela Brummit, MA, RD, LD

Pam is the Founder of Brummit & Associates, Inc. She has presented over 50 programs for national and state meetings. Taught the Dietary Managers course and ServSafe for 30 years. Written/co-written over 15 manuals related to long term care. Held more than 20 board positions in local, state and national dietetic associations. Pam is the recipient of multiple awards, including Oklahoma Outstanding RDN of the Year and the Consultant Dietitian of the Year, Ball State University Distinguished Alumni and the ANFP Legacy Award.

Monique "Nicky" Engel, MS, RDN, LMNT

Nicky has been working in skilled, long-term care, and healthcare communities for over 15 years. Currently, she is a regional leader for Dining RD and oversees consulting services in Nebraska and Iowa, as well as provides consulting services in her area. Nicky has previously served in numerous positions for the Nebraska Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics both at the state level and the Northeast Nebraska chapter.

Cynthia Wolfram, RDN, LD, FAND

Cynthia Wolfram, RDN, LD, FAND is Operations Advisor for Dietitians for Health Care, a 57+ year old company employing dietitians to serve residents/patients/clients in PA/LTC setting, providing support for the clinical and food service needs of the communities.  Recently, DHC partnered with Dining RD.  Cynthia has 25+ years' experience serving seniors in the communities we serve.  She has served in multiple areas in the Academy, most recently on the Nutrition and Dietetics Foundation Board.  Cynthia supports dietetic interns, encouraging all to work in PA/LTC.  Free time is enjoyed with gardening, jam making and knitting.

Avery Holmes, MHSC, RDN, CSG, LDN

Avery was inspired to pursue a career working with older adults through the close relationship that she shared with her grandparents. For the last 7 years, she has been employed by Sodexo as a long-term care dietitian in Williamsport, PA. In 2021, she obtained her specialty certification in gerontological nutrition. Avery is a lover of all things cheesecake and enjoys exercising, reading, and spending time with family.

Aislinn Crovak, RDN, LDN

Aislinn Crovak, Registered Dietitian, has 15+ years’ experience in community, senior living, and acute nutrition care settings throughout her career.  She has been with Compass Group for over 10 years in various roles and sectors supporting operational and clinical functions and currently is a Director of Nutrition Resources with CCL Hospitality Group. Aislinn has supported nutrition program implementation, policy changes, wellness innovation, and developed clinical resources to convey brand and industry standards.

Fundraising Chair
Cindy Dunivent, MS, RD, LD

Cindy has working in the Long-Term Care Industry for over 40 years.  Graduated from the University of Nebraska at Kearney, NE with a BS Degree in Home Economics with a Dietetics Major, and was awarded Masters of Science, August of 1980 from the University of Kansas State.   Cindy currently works for Dining RD as a Director of Consulting Operations for the Central Region.  She has  worked as an independent consultant as well as a Regional and Corporate Dietitian for a couple of Long-Term Care Corporations.    Majority of her experiences have all been in long term care except for a couple of small regional or critical access hospitals.
