I am currently a faculty member at the University of Alabama where I divide my time between research and teaching clinical nutrition classes. Building on experience as a clinical dietitian in inpatient and outpatient settings, my research interests include nutritional influences on aging and neurodegenerative diseases. I also currently serve as a consulting dietitian for the ALS Association. It is a privilege to support individuals living with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), but I remain hopeful for the day there is a cure.
