  • Define a whole-food, plant based (WFPB) diet and review recent research on potential benefits in cancer
  • Review key nutrients of concern for deficiency
  • Explore practical ideas to help patients incorporate more plant-predominant eating during treatment and beyond

Speaker: Lisa Lammert, RDN, LD, CSO

Lisa Lammert, RDN, LD, CSO has been a dietitian at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN for the past 19 years. She is a board-certified specialist in oncology nutrition, has obtained her certificate of training in vegetarian nutrition from the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, and obtained her Plant-Based
Nutrition certificate from the T. Colin Campbell Center for Nutrition Studies through eCornell. Lisa works in Mayo Clinic’s Integrative Medicine and Health in the Cancer Survivorship Clinic helping patients build knowledge and skills to improve their diet and lifestyle following cancer treatment.
