    I will be traveling to FNCE alone and would like to connect with others who might want to explore Nashville after the conference is over in the evenings.  I am not looking to "party" or stay out late. Just someone to explore with, so I'm not going around an unfamiliar city alone.  

    Updated 8/13/25: Just to be more clear.  I am arriving Friday Oct 10th at 2:30 p.m. and departing Wednesday morning.  Hopefully there are attendees who are also coming in early due to the distance of travel and would like to get together before and after the conference to explore Nashville.  I have never been and will likely never return, so would like to do some touristy stuff while there.

    What day/time do you fly in?  I'm coming from Oregon Friday Oct 10th arriving about 2:30 in the afternoon.  I'm staying at the Garden Hilton downtown and will probably check into the conference and then find some touristy thing to do.

    All,

    I'm driving in on Saturday morning and headed home on Tuesday afternoon.  If no one has concerns with a man joining the group, I would love to spend time with others.  I've been to Nashville a few times (had family in the area).  There are plenty of things to do around the conference center that are within walking distance - particularly along Broadway Street.  The Country Music Hall of Fame closes at 5p most days so unless you go on Friday or Saturday morning, that is likely not an option.  The Parthenon is a pretty cool experience within a short drive or the Blue Bird Cafe, where a lot of the country stars get noticed.  I will have wheels  since I'm driving.  

    If anyone is looking for a sightseeing or dinner friend during the conference, let me know and I'll share my contact information.

    Hello Diane.  I will be arriving on the 10th and also staying at the Garden Hilton Downtown, but I will not have a car until my husband joins on me on the last day of the conference. I would love to join your group of tag-alongs for some touristy things.
