Hi HA DPG members!
I came across this article in Cell Press Blue and I wonder if any of you have any input. The study points to possible benefits of protein restriction (particularly a few amino acids) for longevity, which goes against a lot of what we've previously been told with aging. I don't think the journal has an impact factor yet as it's pretty new, so unsure of how solid the acceptance criteria for research is. It's also a lot of rat/animal studies vs. human but curious if anyone thinks there's anything to it.
The hallmarks of protein and amino acid restriction in aging and longevity: Cell Press Blue
Thanks!
