DPG11 Healthy Aging (HA)

Hello all,

My SNF/LTC is trying to set up a Paid Feeding Assistant program. Has anyone here been involved in their setup from scratch? If so, did the RD, RN, or SLP lead it? Or does anyone have a recommendation for a reputable and purchasable course out there for employees to take?

Yes, we've done many classes. Our state (CO) has a curriculum that must be followed, so I have set up a power point to follow the curriculum.  The dietitians usually lead the training, however per our state regulations, the program must be overseen/managed by a nurse.  I'd be happy to share with you personally if you want to send me a text 720-876-8736. We can then collaborate via email, etc.  Other states, from my understanding do not have a guided curriculum. I'd check with your health department.
