Following today's great webinar on the role of RDs in reducing food waste, I came across a couple of websites that fit with the theme. I was intrigued by https://www.eatortoss.com/ which addresses a variety of food queries, complete with descriptive photos and answers supported by authoritative sources, including journal articles and interviews with experts like crop scientists, among others. There are also Use-It-Up Recipes for pickle juice, sourdough discard, leftover capers, and more. 

I checked out the link on the Community of Practice webinar slide and watched some of the webinars on their site. That led me to Hellman's recipe finder for random ingredients on hand, featuring "flexipes" (flexible recipes) to inspire cooks to make something when they feel like they have "nothing" in the kitchen.
