The Academy of Nutrition & Dietetics has convened a work group of 13 experts in child nutrition programs to determine the best path forward for Child Nutrition Reauthorization. The group is working on compiling a list of recommendations that focuses on Nutrition Education & Promotion, National School Lunch & Breakfast Programs, and Summer Meals Programs.
During the 2019 Advocacy Summit (July 11 & 12, 2019), the Academy’s leadership charged the hill to talk about Child Nutrition Reauthorization. They shared stories from our SNS DPG members with Congressional Representatives – reinforcing the Academy’s dedication & commitment to feeding the future.
